[STN-Affiliates] Firewire Cameras with Mic Input jack?

Besides the Canon ZR900 series camcorders, anyone know of sub $500
cameras having an external mic input jack?  They need to have firewire
(MiniDV) in this instance.

I'm told the Canon ZR900 is now discontinued, and looks like only the
new ZR960 will exist as of May 2009.  I assume this means the ZR930 and
ZR950 models also discontinued...

Any leads appreciated, thanks!
