[STN-Affiliates] Sony Digital 8 problems

This is our first year to do broadcast journalism.  We are at the  
"bottom of the food chain" when comes to this.  We produce two  
monthly TV magazines, so when we have camera problems we are in a  
world of hurt.  We have two Sony Digital 8 cameras that are  
saying,"re insert tape" and we can't record or log with them.  Any  
ideas?  We need all the advice we can get.  Thank you
