[STN-Affiliates] Convention 2009 Update

Hey Everyone,

To put this in prospective, at last year's convention three DVDs were available; Sweet 16, film festival and music videos sold separately for $10 each. That is $30. Plus this new DVD will include the winners from all the other contests. Lots of content.  I know I have also paid about $30 for the fall and spring nationals DVDs.

Dear STN,
I understand the expense of the awards - though I am disappointed in 
your decision.
BUT   $30.00 for a DVD of convention winners sounds a bit pricey to me. 
You suggest we make $5-10  off of our DVD's but STN is going to make 
$30.00 a piece off of us. There isn't one of us coming to convention 
that isn't putting out huge amounts to attend convention and compete.
Is gouging us on this DVD really the right tone to set when there is a 
huge recession in  our country.
Frankly - I am miffed at that price. We sell DVD's at school all of the 
time and have never charged this much. This isn't a creative endeavor on 
your part - it is a compilation of others work. Why is the price this high?
